History
Bogart P.S. is named after the Bogart Family who have had their roots in Newmarket area since 1803. Bogart first opened its doors in the fall of 1993.
Our school motto is Responsibility, Respect, Reason and Reputation.
Our school mascot is the Bogart Bear.
Facilities and Capacity
Bogart Public School was officially opened in 1993 and remains a beautiful, large facility. We have a current enrolment of approximately 685 students, and employ around 60 staff in the capacities of; administrative assistants, caretakers, educational assistants, child and youth workers, designated early childcare education workers, administrators, teachers including special education teachers, E.L.L. teachers, a librarian, French and music teachers.
Bogart Public School is also the home of a community class for a Developmental Disabilities program and a community class for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
